DIY Laying

The key to success in laying a patio is careful planning.  Make sure you have everything you need to hand before you start.

If you need to store your paving slabs for any length of time, raise them off the ground onto timber battens and lean them on an edge against a wall or something - this will protect their surfaces.  Cover them with an old blanket or tarpaulin.
